Notice

  • The Clayful Vintage class is conducted as a small, exclusive group session with 2-6 participants per session. If you wish to book a group class with 4-6 or more participants, a private class can be arranged—please contact us for inquiries.
  • When booking a one-day class, you must select at least one piece of pottery per person. During the one-day class, participants can make additional pottery for an extra fee if desired.
  • The pottery you create will go through a drying, bisque firing, and glaze firing process, taking approximately 6-8 weeks or more to complete. After the process is finished, we will contact you individually. You can then pick up your pottery in person, though if desired, we can also ship it to you. However, we recommend in-person pickup as shipping can cause breakage due to its fragility. If you choose to have it shipped, please note that we are not responsible for any damages during transit. Shipping costs are an additional $10, including packaging.
  • As each piece is handmade, there may be imperfections such as cracks, warping, glaze clumping, glaze drying, glaze flow marks, iron spots, small bumps, or color differences, depending on factors like the drying process, firing temperature, and placement in the kiln.
  • The bottom of all pottery is cleaned of glaze before firing to avoid the risk of sticking to the kiln, as glaze melts at the high temperature of 1250°C, potentially damaging both the kiln and the pottery.
  • Due to the nature of clay and the kiln, unforeseen issues may arise, but we do not provide refunds or additional work for these issues. The unique characteristics of handmade pottery are part of the class experience, and we ask that you be aware of this before registering.
  • You may enter the class 5 minutes before the start time. Please note that you will not be able to enter earlier, as the class will still be in preparation. We appreciate your understanding.
